[AM, p. 16][UATS] Asa was the son of Capt. Asa Fisk of Holliston who commanded a company of Minute Men during the Revolutionary War. [UATS] He was born about 1818 in Massachusetts. [C1880] He died before 1900.
    In 1850 Lydia was 20 and living with her mother in Lowell. [C1850] In 1870 Lydia and Asa were living in Maine Prairie, Solano, California and Asa was a bookkeeper. [C1870] In 1880 Lydia and Asa were living in San Francisco and Asa was a money lender. [C1880] Asa died and left his widow a large fortune. [AM, p. 16] In 1900 and 1910 Lydia was a widow living in San Francisco. [C1900][C1900] In 1920 Lydia was a widow living with her daughter and son-in-law in Pasadena, Los Angeles, California. [C1920]
    Asa Fisk built the first street car line in Boston. [Ref] He was elected to the Massachusetts legislature [Ref] from Somerville. [UATS] He moved to San Francisco in 1869 and amassed a fortune as a financial broker. [Ref]
