1. Leander Town Barker was born on 31 Oct 1828. [HBM, p. 476] He died on 13 Jan 1911. [GHC] Leander's name appears on the gravestone of his parents and sister Alma in the Grover Hill (Skillinston Cemetery) in Bethel. [HBM, p. 476] She was the daughter of William and Sarah (Hobbs) Brackett of Harrison, Maine. [HBM, p. 476] She was born on 20 Feb 1830. [GHC] She died on 16 Sep 1891. [HBM, p. 476, no day][GHC] Leander married second Lissa C. Unknown. [GHC] She was born on 5 May 1833. [GHC] She died 21 Apr 1914. [GHC] Leander and his wives are buried in the Grover Hill Cemetery in Bethel. [GHC]
   Leander had no children. [HBM, p. 476]
   Leander was town clerk of Bethel for almost 20 years. [HBM, p. 476]
   
2. Dolly Gould Barker was born on 24 Oct 1830. [HBM, p. 476] She died on 2 May 1861. [HBM, p. 476] She married Thomas E. Twitchell. [HBM, p. 476]
3. Mary Eliza Barker was born on 17 Feb 1833. [HBM, p. 476] She married Dr. Charles W. Gordon. [HBM, pp. 254, 476]
   Dr. Gordon moved to Bethel Hill. [HBM, p. 254] He practiced medicine for a few years but his health failed and he became a farmer. [HBM, p. 254]
   
4. Alma Ingalls Barker was born on 2 Aug 1838. [HBM, p. 476] She died on 17 Mar 1843. [HBM, p. 476] Alma is buried with her parents and brother Leander in the Skillinston Cemetery in Oxford county, Maine. Click here to see a photo of their grave on the Findagrave website.
5. Ella Abba Barker was born on 20 Jan 1849. [HBM, p. 476] She died on 22 Mar 1873. [HBM, p. 476] She married Horace D. Gibbs. [HBM, p. 476]
