In his will of 28 Nov 1670 Henry mentioned his wife Mary; his sons Zoeth, Joseph, John and Samuel; his daughters Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary and Abigail. [PCHP, p. 311]

  1. Abigail Howland was born say 1628. [GMB, p. 1018] She married John Young on 13 Dec 1648 in Plymouth. [GMB, p. 1018]
    1. Mary Young was born on 28 Apr 1658 in Eastham. She married Daniel Smith on 3 Mar 1676/7 in Eastham. [GMB, pp. 1696-9][VREO, 4;33]
  2. Zoeth Howland was born say 1631. [GMB, p. 1018] He married Abigail Unknown by 1657. [GMB, p. 1018]
  3. Samuel Howland was born about 1638. [GMB, p. 1018] He married Mary Sampson about 1673. [GMB, p. 1018] Mary was the daughter of Abraham Sampson. [GMB, p. 1018]
  4. John Howland was born say 1641. [GMB, p. 1018] He married Mary Walker on 29 Jan 1684/5 in Duxbury. [GMB, p. 1018] She died before 8 Aug 1687 in Freetown. [GMB, p. 1018]
  5. Mary Howland was born say 1643. [GMB, p. 1018] She married James Cudworth by 1665. [GMB, p. 1018]
  6. Sarah Howland was born about 1645. [GMB, p. 1018] She died on 2 Oct 1712, age about 67, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. [GMB, p. 1018] She married Robert Dennis on 19 Nov 1672. [GMB, p. 1019]
  7. Elizabeth Howland was born say 1647. [GMB, p. 1019] She married Jedidiah Allen by 1669. [GMB, p. 1019] Elizabeth is probably an ancestor of Richard Nixon.
  8. Joseph Howland was born say 1649. [GMB, p. 1019] He married Rebecca Hussey on 4 May 1683 in Hampton. [GMB, p. 1019]
