[CFEA. p. 23] John was the son of Rev. Thomas and Mary (Perkins) Wells. [CFEA. p. 23] He was born on 9 Oct 1692 in Amesbury. [CFEA. p. 23] He died between 27 May 1768, when he signed his will, and 24 Dec 1776, when it was proved. [CFEA. p. 23]
