First Generation

GEORGE SOULE (d. 1680) of Plymouth and Duxbury

Parents:

George died in 1680.

George ( - 1680) of Duxbury was a soldier in the Pequot War of 1637-8. [Ref] He is in the Duxbury section of the 1643 list of those between 16 and 60 able to bear arms in Plymouth Colony. [Ref]

George was one of the 26 men who purchased land for Middleborough from the Indian sachem Wampatuck in Mar 1662. [Ref] In 1664, land was laid out near Namasket (Middleborough) for George Soule. [Ref]

Children of Sourge Soule:

  1. John Soule married Rebecca Simmons.
  2. Zachary Soule died before 11 Dec 1663 when inventory was taken on the oath of his widow Margaret. [Ref] He is in the Duxbury section of the 1643 list of those between 16 and 60 able to bear arms in Plymouth Colony. [Ref]

Parents: John Soule and Rebecca Simmons [Ref]

Rachel Soule was born about 1662. She died on 18 Sep 1727, age 65. [Ref] She married John Cobb in 1688. [Ref]

Rachel joined the First Church of Christ in Middleboro as member 57. [Ref]
