JOHN SQUIRE (abt 1630 - 1713) of Cambridge

John Squire was born about 1630. He died in 1713, age 83. [Ref] He married Sarah Francis by 1667. [Ref]
In 1662 there was a Cambridge court case "John Squire vs Richard Linered Slande". [Ref] In a 1667 court case, his age was given as 30. [Ref]
John Squire was a soldier in King Philip's War on 25 Jan 1675/6. [Ref] He received eight acres in the eighth quadrant in Cambridge in 1683. [Ref] He was a freeman at "Ch" (Chelmsford?) on 16 Feb 1685/6, he is also on a dateless list of freemen of Cambridge. [Ref] He was on an Aug 1688 list of people taxed in Cambridge. [Ref] John Squire, Sr. was on a committee to view lands in Cambridge in 1696. [Ref]
He signed his will in 1713 in Cambridge. [Ref]
John appears to be distinct from the John who was in Boston at the same time and, who Savage [Ref] says, went to Reading.

Daniel Squire was born on 3 Aug 1686 in Cambridge. [Ref] He married Deliverance Wilson on 5 Jul 1710 in Watertown [Ref] or in Newton. [Ref]
Daniel Squire and Deliverance Wilson had the following children:

Deliverance Squire was born on 13 Dec 1715 in Cambridge. [Ref] She was baptised on 8 Jan 1715/6 in the First Congregational Church in Cambridge. [Ref] She died on 31 Oct 1782 in Pomfret, Windham, CT. [Ref][Ref] She is buried in the Sabine Cemetery in Pomfret; her headstone says that she died on 3 Oct and that she was 66 years old. [Ref] She married Capt.
