Richard Hyland was buried on 25 Mar 1591 in All Saints, Waldron. [Ref] He had an unknown wife, buried on 5 Jan 1588/9 in All Saints.
There was another Richard Hyland buried in Wyland in 1586. Either he or our Richard had a wife Jone buried on 30 May 1567 in All Saints. It is likely that this Richard married the widow Christian Smith on 7 Sep 1567 in All Saints. [Ref]
Richard Hyland, husbandman of Waldron, was not a rich man. In his will, signed on 10 Mar 1590/1 and proved on 1 Jul 1591, he left six shillings and eight pence to each of Peter Hyland's children and three shillings and 4 pence to each of his four unnamed daughters. He left a coverlet to his son John. [Ref]

Thomas Hyland, son of Peter, was baptised on 29 Jun 1581 in All Saints, Waldron. [Ref] He was buried on 10 Feb 1629/30 in All Saints, Waldron. [Ref] He married Agnes Woodman on 17 May 1597 in All Saints, Waldron. [Ref]
Agnes's father was probably John Woodman. John Woodman, husbandman of Mayfield, Sussex, made his will on 23 Apr 1591. It was proved on 3 Jun 1591. He mentions his daughter Margaret; his daughter Joane and her husband Richard Carkick; Annis, his youngest daughter; Mary, his eldest daughter and her husband John Reames. [Ref]
Thomas Hyland, yeoman of Waldron, Sussex, wrote his will on 12 Feb 1626/7. It was proved on 20 Feb 1629/30. He mentions his eldest son John; sons Thomas, William, Samuel, Josias and Nicholas; daughter Elizabeth and Mary. [Ref]

In her 27 May 1672 will, Ester Woodfield of Scituate left a bequest to the "wife of Thomas Hiland". [Ref]
