Joseph Butterfield died in 1741. [BOM, 44;39] He married Dorothy Heald. [BOM, 44;39] Dorothy was the daughter of Gershom and Hannah Heald of Concord. [BOM, 44;39]
Dorothy petitioned for Lieut. Jabez Keep of Westford to be appointed guardian of her children Ebenezer, age about 13, and Dorothy, age about ten, on 8 Dec 1749. [BOM, 44;39]
